This new company is a collaboration of three successful American businessmen composed ofMichel Boisclair, the first North American Distributor of ROTAX MAX engines with his SRA group starting in 1999,Garry Lobaughof Three Oaks, Michigan who joined as one of the first ROTAX dealers in the US over ten years ago and Richard Boisclair, professional business manager and distribution expert.

The company will headquarter in Three Oaks, Michigan. Garry Lobaugh remarked “this is a huge opportunity to establish a single source importer with a dynamic team  of Rotax enthusiasts and business professionals who have a plan for the long term growth of the Rotax program.”

At the ROTAX MAX Festival (national final of the ROTAX MAX Challenge) in Japan, a ROTAX 125 MAX engine has been drawn by all drivers that has been participating at this event.

200 drivers have been lining up for draw a ROTAX 125 MAX engine by "scissors - stone - paper".
All the drivers compete in a RPS contest and the last person standing won the brand new ROTAX MAX engine.

BRP-Powertrain has introduced a new needle cage and O-ring for the centrifugal clutch to be able to detect any missuse of the centrifugal clutch.

BRP-Powertrain has introduced a new cylinder generation into serial production for all

• 125 Junior MAX (part no. 223 994)
• 125 MAX (part no. 223 993) and
• 125 MAX DD2 (part no. 613 933) engines.

The specific features of the new cylinders are:

• CNC machining all around the exhaust port to minimize the tolerances of exhaust port timing.
• CNC machining of the chamfer around the exhaust port to minimize variation of appearance and to improve durability of piston and piston ring.
• CNC machining of the top edge of the central boost port to minimize the tolerance of port timing.
• The CNC machining all around the exhaust port will allow the technical scrutineer to confirm the original condition of the cylinder more easily.
  
  The new cylinders can be retrofitted to all existing ROTAX MAX engines on the market

Most likely a lot of you already know as communications in karting community simply work great.

at the awesome track of
La Conca International circuitinMuro
Leccese / Italy.

We are proud having entered a cooperation with Mr. Luca de Donno representing the

La Conca Sporting Club to host the Grand Finals 2008.

Mr. Luca de Donno being the organizer of the WSK international karting series as well as

several CIK European and World championships is one of the most experienced event

organizers in the karting business driving one of the most modern kart tracks.

We are all looking forward coming to Italy to experience the famous Italian hospitality and

would like to thank in advance the La Conca Sporting club and its partners for their efforts and

enthusiasm.

With respect to questions about the climate there, pls. be informed, that the track of La conca

is in the southern part of Italy (approx. 1000 km south of for example the track of Lonato at

lake Garda) and it´s one of the warmest and driest regions of Europe.

The track of La conca in Muro Leccese is located close to the sea (10 km) south of the cities of

Brindisi (next airport) and Lecce.

Marc Surer, former formula I Pilot and Motorshow presenter has carried out
last Friday, 18th January, 2008 exclusive in St. Moritz, tests with CRG Rotax MAX Karts
on snow. For the snowy conditions special snow-tyres were required. The test journeys ran extremely positively, the Kart showed a very good driving behaviour. To be continued…

… with 76 participants took place on the 26th/27th of January on 1700-m, in Livigno (I).
15 CRG Rotax MAX Karts raced on a frozen lake equipped with special spikes.
In each case 12 pilots drove qualification running and final running.
